Archery Team’s Quarterfinal Exit

Indian Archery Team won our hearts and applaud when they entered the quarterfinals of Olympics 2020 after beating Kazakhstan 6-2. They, however, failed to break the barrier of top-seeded Korea. Indian trio of Atanu Das, Pravin Jadhav and Tarundeep Rai lost against the favourites Korea in straight sets.

The Korean team were ona roll by shooting 10 perfect 10s out of 12.

The Indians did well in the second set with straight four 10s but Das faltered with an 8 in the last shot.

This same Indian team had won us a silver medal in 2019 World Championship.

Our hope of Olympics medal in archery now rests in the individual section where the men’s trio try their luck on Wednesday!
